Precooked and Dehydrated Pink Beans

Phaseolus vulgaris

Small and pale pink when raw, these beans have a rich, meaty flavor and reddish/brown color when cooked. Native to the Southwestern region of the United States, they can be found in Mexican-American and Southwestern cuisine. Pink beans have a similar flavor and texture to pinto or kidney beans, making them an excellent substitute or addition for either.
